The PERSPECTIVE IN DESIGN AWARDS recognizes the exceptional creativity and talent of New England’s residential design professionals.

Who May Enter

• Any design professional (interior designers, architect, design/build) may submit their project for consideration.  
• Only  RESIDENTIAL projects located in ME, NH,  VT, MA, RI or CT will be accepted – up to 3 projects per designer or firm.
• Projects must have been completed between 1/1/2009 and  1/31/12.
• There is no charge for submitting.

Submission

All entries must be submitted electronically (see submission info below) and must include the following:

• At least two (2) but no more than four (4) before photos (for Renovation entries only).
• At least four (4) but no more than six (6) project photos.

Project Description (250 words or less) Describe the project and include details including:

• Age of home
• Style of home  (applicable for categories 1 – 3)
• Any challenges the project presented and  your solution
• DO NOT MENTION COMPANY NAME OR REFERENCE ANYONE WHO WORKED ON THE JOB BY NAME IN YOUR PROJECT DESCRIPTION.  REFER TO THEM GENERALLY AS CONTRACTOR, DESIGNER, ETC.  PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS ONLY WILL BE SUPPLIED ALONG WITH YOUR PHOTOS TO OUR JUDGING PANEL.

Judges Panel

Perspective New England has an esteemed panel of judges from the design educational, professional and media communities.

 

All submissions will be presented to the judges without reference to designer’s name, company or identifying location.

Deadlines & Dates

Submission deadline: Friday, April 11, 2012 (5:00 pm).

 

Winners to be announced and featured in the 2012 Late Spring issue of Perspective New England.

 

Awards & Recognition

All winners will be guests of honor at the Perspective New England Awards Issue Launch Party (date and time TBA) where their winning entry will be on display.
